This property was recently purchased by the Alphon Group for 2.4 million dollars. This house might not be standing for much longer due to future construction plans being proposed. No one should enter the dwelling due to recent no trespassing notices. The floors are unstable and the the structure recently suffered fire damage. The style of the wallpaper, hardwood floors, and crown molding are truly a window into the past.

As per CBC News the house caught fire in 2017 allegedly by an arsonist.

​This dilapidated building is located in close proximity to the Long Island Locks on the east side of the Rideau River.
