INFORMATION

The Doncaster River basin was a former hydroelectric dam. The dam was dismantled by Hydro Québec in the late 1980's. In 1990 the Doncaster River Park was officially created and open to the public. The land surrounding the dam was restored to its natural beauty.

These ruins are all that is left of the former hydro electric dam that claimed this site for decades.
